How do successful artists actually make high-value sales years after an initial small purchase?

It happens constantly. Someone buys something small—like a $25 or $50 item—seven to ten years ago. You’ve been marketing to them the whole time because you captured their email. They keep seeing your work, maybe they wear that t-shirt occasionally and think of you. Years later, life changes—they get promoted, move, have money, need art for bare walls. Who do they buy from? You. Because you stayed top-of-mind through consistent marketing and they already know, like, and trust you. This is why acquiring new customers at any price point matters so much.
