Should I announce my flash sale in advance or just go live spontaneously?
For flash sales specifically, just go live spontaneously—don’t announce it 30 minutes or a day in advance. That’s a different strategy than a planned, larger live art show. The flash sale is meant to be spur-of-the-moment with zero friction. The spontaneity is part of what makes it work and what makes it easy to execute. Over time, as you do more of these, your audience will learn to pay attention when you go live because they might miss a great deal. That anticipation builds over time. But for your first one or any individual flash sale, just hit the button and go.
