How do I balance documenting my adventures (which people want to see) with selling my art when planning major trips is difficult?

Your bike trips and adventures are absolutely part of your story, and people clearly want to see that content—this is part of the 50% of art sales that’s based on who you are as a human being. The key is to merge the two worlds: your adventures and your art. When you can’t plan a 45-day, 50-100 miles per day trip, document smaller adventures, training rides, local explorations—anything that shows who you are beyond just the art. Film content during these activities to use across your social media. Think of your adventure site as the full movie and your social media as trailers for that movie. Post trailer clips everywhere to drive traffic. This authentic storytelling is what draws people in and helps them know, like, and trust you. People do business with people they’re entertained by and connected to. Your unique angle of combining art with endurance cycling is compelling content that differentiates you, so capitalize on it consistently even when you’re not on epic journeys.
