Why do Facebook ads seem to work for other products but not art?
Selling art is fundamentally different from selling commodity products or impulse purchases. Art requires a longer sales cycle—people need to know you, connect with your story, understand your process, and build trust over time. Impulse products or novelty items can convert quickly, but art is a considered purchase that often takes months or years. You can’t compare art sales to someone selling tchotchkes or pants. The buying psychology is completely different.
