What's the most important thing to focus on when getting started selling art?

There’s really only one difficult thing in this business: selling the art. Everything else is actually pretty easy. Don’t get wound up in details like how to accept different currencies, how to ship, whether you need a business license, or other administrative tasks. None of that matters until you make the sale. The only hard thing is making the sale—that’s where you should focus your energy. All the rest is simple paperwork and buttons that you can figure out when you need to.
