Should I keep my existing custom-built website or switch to a different solution? I've spent a lot of time building mine and I'm worried about it looking cookie-cutter.

This is hard to hear, but: a well-designed art-sales website that follows best practices will outperform your custom site, even if yours is beautiful. The issue isn’t uniqueness—it’s whether your site communicates clearly to visitors that they’re there to view and buy art. Most custom artist websites don’t do this effectively because the artist’s creative eye gets in the way. That said, you have options. You could keep your main artist website and use a separate storefront subdomain for e-commerce. But honestly, you’d see better results going all-in on a proper e-commerce setup. The ‘cookie-cutter’ concern is less important than conversion. Trust people who’ve seen this pattern across tens of thousands of artist websites—there’s alchemy in the gallery-style minimalist approach that works. Your uniqueness comes through in your art and your story, not in your website’s design complexity.
