When should I consider pivoting my art business if I'm not seeing sales?

If you’ve been attempting to sell your particular subject material and style for quite some time, you’ve gotten that work in front of hundreds of people’s eyeballs, shown it to a bunch of people, and you’ve had zero sales, zero warm leads, zero inquiries, and no one has bought it—especially not family or friends—and you’ve been unable to sell the work to strangers, then it’s pretty clear it’s time for you to pivot. The lack of sales may not be about your talent; it could be about your product selection and subject material.
