I'm just starting my art business with no sales yet. Should I still participate in Q4 holiday sales?

Yes, absolutely. It doesn’t matter what stage you’re at—whether you’re just getting started and haven’t sold a piece, or your business is over $500K, or anywhere in between. The most important thing is to make sure you have a line in the water this season. The results will be what they will be, but this looks to be one of the greatest Q4 periods ever for art sales. Even if you don’t have physical inventory, get some. If you’re not set up yet, there will be different techniques and tactics you can use. The key is to be in the game. Don’t sit on the sidelines during the single best opportunity of the year just because you’re early in your journey. Participate at whatever level you can.
