How important is price point diversity for an art business?
Price point diversity is very important. If your originals start at $500, $750, or $1,000 and you have nothing below that price point, you’re limiting your potential buyers. A basement sale gives you the opportunity to offer lower price points that make your work accessible to buyers who couldn’t afford your regular pieces. Having a range of price points means you can convert more of the attention you get into actual sales, rather than losing potential buyers who love your work but can’t afford your entry price.
