What should I focus on when adding features or tools to my art business?

Don’t chase features or tools based on what sounds good or what other artists request. Instead, look at what artists actually selling significant amounts - say fifty thousand dollars or more annually - are using and requesting. Successful artists often aren’t asking for the shiny features beginners think they need. In fact, beginners often have no idea what features the top sellers are actually using. Asking for features before you understand what drives sales is like asking for an advanced surfboard when you can’t stand up in small waves yet. Focus only on what’s proven to drive actual sales results, not on shiny objects that seem appealing but don’t move the needle.
