Getting your website up with images can happen in as little as a week. However, the real question is what comes after — building the business through consistent marketing. Success isn’t measured in 3 months, 6 months, or even a year. Most artists have 20-50+ years left in their creative careers, so the timeline should reflect long-term commitment. You need to be willing to spend the time building the business through ongoing marketing efforts, not just uploading work and waiting. If you can commit to consistent marketing alongside your creating, you’re positioned well. If you only want to upload images without the bandwidth for ongoing promotion, success will be much harder to achieve.
