I do animation, filmmaking, street photography, fashion films, dance films, and food photography — should I have separate websites for each, and how do I market myself when I do so many things?

One website for everything. Don’t overthink having 2 websites or 3 Instagram accounts — focus on one and keep building it. It’s okay that you do motion work, films, animation, and photography. You’re an artist — of course you do all of that. Art sales are 50/50: 50% meritocracy on the quality of work, and 50% who the artist is and their story. People aren’t just buying because you work in one narrow niche; they’re buying because they like you, your creative eye, and your perspective. In fact, many successful artists have no niche whatsoever — they succeed because people are invested in them as a person. Put all your work together so people can see your full creative range. As you put yourself out there, you’ll discover what the market wants and what direction you want to focus on. You’re the brand just as much as the creations, and you have your whole career ahead to build it. Also, you’re in a unique position: you’re essentially a one-man motion picture studio asking how to market yourself, when most artists struggle to figure out what to post. You’ve got incredible content — use it for storytelling, not just product display.
