Is it worth doing marketing campaigns that don't generate immediate sales?
Absolutely. Thinking of marketing as purely binary—one dollar in, five dollars out immediately—is shortsighted and will limit your growth. Marketing efforts that generate attention, new email subscribers, social followers, and engaged leads are incredibly valuable even without immediate sales. These campaigns are just the beginning. The real ROI comes from having a strategy to continue marketing to those people over time. When you acquire attention through any campaign, that’s when the work truly starts—you need to keep those people engaged week in and week out. Some marketing shots will hit the bullseye with immediate high ROI, but many won’t, and that’s okay if you have the follow-up systems in place to monetize those relationships over months and years.
