Why is it important to have lower-priced items in my art product lineup?

Lower-priced items (typically under $100) allow you to acquire significantly more new customers than you would with only high-priced originals. These items lower the barrier to entry—buyers don’t need to measure walls, consult partners, or deliberate extensively. They can make impulse purchases, which gets your art into their lives. Once someone owns a piece of your work, even a small item, they’re far more likely to return and buy again later. This compounds over time: instead of acquiring 7-10 customers per year, you might acquire 50-60, building a growing base of proven buyers for all future marketing.
