Is AI going to hurt art sales or make it harder for real artists to sell?

Overall, AI will be a net positive for artists. We’re moving into a world where people will question whether anything they see on a screen is real because AI can fake everything. This will make the story of the artist even more important than before. People will revolt against AI and want authentic, human-created work. Yes, some corporate buyers like retail stores might use AI for generic décor, but those were inside jobs anyway—real artists weren’t getting those sales. The bigger benefit is that AI can close the gap on all the tasks you’re not good at as a solo artist: copywriting, SEO, video editing, descriptions. You can use these tools to handle what you don’t want to do, while your human-created art becomes even more valuable.
