Creativity is an entity in itself—it’s energy that flows through you into performing, singing, writing, designing, teaching, and creating art. Treat the creative process as cathartic, meditative, and a gratitude exercise. The fact that inspiration comes from somewhere deep inside your soul and flows out through your fingertips is magical. Love what you do and have fun with it. If you don’t want to show your art to people or sell it, that’s fine—but recognize that the ability to create is a gift in itself. Do it because you love it, be grateful you can do it, and let it be its own reward regardless of commercial success.
