What does consistent marketing actually mean for an art business?
Consistent marketing means regular, ongoing activity across multiple channels every single week, all year long. This includes regular email marketing to your list, regular social media posting on all your platforms done the right way (with romance and engagement, not just product shots), and executing proven sales mechanisms at the right times. It’s not dabbling here and there or being lazy about it. The importance of consistency cannot be overstated: when you buy any kind of advertising—whether online or offline—you must capture leads and then work those leads over time. This is called the sales cycle. When a person finally has a need or is ready to buy, you want them to think of you. The only way to stay top-of-mind is through consistent marketing. Without this system in place, even if you bring in qualified potential buyers through advertising, you’ll miss the sale because someone else will get it when the time comes.
