What should I do if I've been selling at art shows for years but don't have organized customer records?
Start gathering whatever records you have—dig through receipts, emails, old files, even paper records stored away. Get everything into a spreadsheet with names, contact information, and purchase amounts. Your list is probably much bigger than you think, especially when you include both buyers and the many contacts who didn’t purchase over the years. Even incomplete information (just name and address, for instance) is valuable. The key is to start organizing this data now, regardless of how scattered it currently is.
