How do I grow my Instagram following as someone who isn't naturally tech-savvy?

Social media is confusing for everyone—even experts struggle with constantly changing interfaces and hidden features. Accept that it’s supposed to feel awkward and just ship content anyway. Don’t look at your stats obsessively in the early years; focus instead on consistently creating and posting. Your audience will brand you based on what you show them. If you only post certain subjects, that’s what people will commission from you. Show the work you actually want to create. Focus on telling your story—why you make the work, your personal connection to subjects, your process. Nobody can tell your story better than you, and that’s what people want to see.
