How do I approach marketing when I'm working alone without a team?
Most artists are solopreneurs—less than one-tenth of 1% have even one employee. Everything you create as an artist—all the marketing, emails, shows, face-to-face time, galleries—represents outputs that are the GDP of your business. You can’t clone yourself, so focus on activities that get your art in front of more eyeballs and create more conversations. Consider tools and technologies that can help you accomplish tasks you hate doing, whether that’s social media updates, writing titles, or developing marketing strategy. The goal is to increase your output so more people see your work and know who you are.
