How many pieces should I create before I know if my style will work?

Think of it as firing arrows at a target. Dali had 45,000 unsold pieces when he died—the vast majority were ‘losers’ to him, but he kept taking shots. If you only fire one arrow (one style or subject), your odds of hitting the bullseye are low. The more you create and test, the better your chances. Don’t get emotionally attached to only creating one thing. Experiment widely.
