What should my art website be able to do to convert visitors into buyers?
Your art gallery website should function like a robot working 24/7 to remove friction from the buying process. It needs features designed to address the questions and issues that stop buyers in their tracks: How big should the piece be? Will it fit in my room? Will it match my wall color? Can I see how it will look in my actual space? A proper website should guide visitors through the buying process and answer these concerns automatically, so the maximum number of visitors turn into buyers. You don’t want to lose sales because your website is generic and can’t convert traffic. When you invest in marketing to drive traffic, that traffic is precious - your website needs to convert as much of it as possible into actual sales.
