How do I actually create a video reply to a comment on Instagram Reels?

It’s very simple. First, you need to have created a Reel that has received comments. Go to one of those comments and tap ‘reply.’ Instead of typing a text response, you’ll see an option to use your camera to reply. When you select that, Instagram automatically places the comment at the top of your new video. Before recording, make sure to check the time selector - you can choose 15, 30, or 60 seconds for your response. Select your preferred length, then simply record your video response and hit send. That’s it. You can do this from anywhere - with your dog, in your backyard, in the passenger seat of a car. It requires no preparation and takes almost no time at all. The comment you’re responding to doesn’t even have to be particularly meaningful when you’re starting out - you can respond to emoji comments or simple reactions just to practice the format.
