Should I avoid marketing on a platform because I heard it's not working anymore or the algorithms have changed?

Don’t use algorithm changes or other people’s complaints as an excuse to stop doing what you’re doing or, worse, as an excuse to never get started in the first place. This is a common pattern: the status quo changes, people don’t like the change, they read and make angry rants about it, and then they either stop marketing there or never start. None of that emotional reaction matters. What matters is this: Does the platform still provide ROI? Is the attention still cheaper there than in the rest of the market? If yes, then keep using it. When everyone else is zigging and panicking, you zag. Take an objective look and make your decision based on results, not emotion or what someone else said.
