Why is it so important to have physical samples of your prints and products?

Physical samples allow you to merchandise and sell your work effectively. You need to show products on live videos, during video chats with potential buyers, and when answering questions in DMs or emails. This is basic salesmanship—like a car salesman demonstrating features, you should show the texture of paper, the thickness and gloss of metal, the depth of acrylic, the gallery wrap of canvas. Trying to sell from images alone doesn’t work. If you’re asking customers to buy something you can’t show or describe in detail, you’re leaving massive amounts of money on the table. This is fundamental to running a product-based business.
