Should I share vulnerable, raw, and difficult parts of my personal story on social media?

Yes, absolutely. The era we live in, especially on social media, is filled with people sharing their ‘perfect life’—vacations, new handbags, new cars, everything looking awesome. It can make you think everyone’s life is perfect except yours. That’s complete nonsense. We’re all human beings with stories, and many people are dealing with difficult things. When you share raw, real stuff on social media—struggles, challenges, vulnerable moments—it’s so authentic that people quickly relate and get bonded to you. Just as an example, when someone shared their story about going through divorce and starting art as therapy, it immediately made them more interesting and relatable. That’s the kind of honesty that creates real connections with potential collectors. People don’t connect with perfection; they connect with authenticity and shared human experience.
