No, you need absolutely nothing to get started. You don’t need an LLC, a business bank account, or a business license until you actually need them. Don’t let these administrative tasks get in the way of what really matters—getting your work in front of buyers and making sales. If someone wants to buy your work, accept cash, check, PayPal, or any payment method, make the sale, and sort out the paperwork later with your accountant if needed. The hardest part of this business is selling the work, so focus on that first.
