Should I worry about age or experience when starting to do video marketing?
No. Age and prior experience are irrelevant. What matters is practice and willingness to improve. Many artists—across all age ranges, including those in their 70s and 80s—start out awkward and uncomfortable on video. But with repetition, they become confident, polished, and engaging. After a year of consistent effort, artists who were terrified of the camera are producing videos with music, graphics, and professional-level storytelling. The only real barrier is the willingness to start, accept initial discomfort, and keep going. Skill comes with repetition, not with youth.
