What's the proper way to bulk-import email contacts and set them as opted-in?

Download the CSV template provided in your email platform’s documentation. In the spreadsheet, fill in first name, last name, and email address for each contact. Scroll right to find the ‘opt-in’ column and enter a date older than today (for example, yesterday’s date) for each contact. When you import this CSV file, all contacts will come in as opted-in because you’ve filled out the opt-in date field. This is much faster than adding contacts one-by-one and then having to manually opt each one in.
