My website analytics show I'm getting no traffic or acquisitions for the past four months. What does this mean and what should I do?
When you’re in the early stages, it’s completely normal to have little or no organic traffic. A website can exist on the internet and get zero visitors if no one knows it exists. People aren’t going to randomly search for your name and art—they don’t know you yet. The traffic you see from places like Singapore or Vietnam is often just bots (crawlers) indexing your site for search engines like Google, which is actually positive because it helps your site become discoverable. Real traffic comes from marketing. You need to be vocal about your website on social media, through email, and wherever your potential buyers spend time. Think of it like a physical gallery—you’d advertise it through word-of-mouth, radio, TV, print media. Your online business needs the same visibility. Focus on consistent social media content (especially video/reels 3-4 times per week), build relationships through authentic posts showing your process and personality, and actively direct people to your website. Don’t worry about analytics until you’ve been actively marketing for at least a year—before that, the numbers are too early to provide meaningful insights and will just cause unnecessary stress.
