I've never sold my work before. What should I do to get started?
Do a local show, a local fair, or even organize a garage sale and include your art in it. You need real-world, in-person experience having conversations about your work with potential buyers. In-person settings are the easiest path to conversations because they’re face-to-face and immediate. This is much more valuable than trying to boost posts digitally when you’re just starting out. The goal is to practice having selling conversations and to gain experience understanding how people respond to your work, what questions they ask, and how to handle objections. Once you’ve had these experiences, everything else—including online marketing—becomes easier.
