What should I realistically expect in terms of growth when selling art online?
Be reasonable about what you can achieve in a year. Think in terms of doubling your business through measured, incremental growth. Success doesn’t happen overnight — it’s about pressure over time. You get better bit by bit. There’s no silver bullet, the grass isn’t always greener, and amazing new tactics you hear about at coffee shops are usually nonsense. Fish don’t jump in the boat. You don’t flip an audience switch and suddenly have an audience. But if you have a plan, stay focused, and do the work consistently, you can get there. You can potentially double your business, or even double it many times over if you’re starting small.
