How do I get started selling my art and get it in front of potential buyers?

Create your work and start showing it to people however you can. Put pieces in your car and drive around with them. Set up a table in a busy part of town with your artwork and ask for feedback—see what happens. Your work must go out into the world, as Picasso said. Nobody is going to discover you or find you sitting at home. Take action in the real world or online, but get those eyeballs on your work. Let people know you accept any form of payment—PayPal, Venmo, cash, check, whatever. You can try selling in-person at local venues, approach galleries or shops, or market online. The key is getting started and getting your work seen, not waiting for perfect conditions. Make it happen yourself.
