I'm uncomfortable putting myself out there on social media. How do I overcome this?

First, understand that everyone feels this way—we all have things we don’t like about ourselves and messy stuff in our lives. If you think everyone else has a perfect life, nothing could be further from the truth. We’re all broken, and honestly, that messy, real stuff is what people actually resonate with. The key is recognizing your story and making it real for others. Think about it this way: if we sat down and had a conversation in person, you’d be completely normal. But when it’s time to post on social media, some gear switches and suddenly you become the ‘art blaster’ instead of yourself. Just be like you are in a normal conversation. Challenge yourself to post something that has absolutely nothing to do with your art. You have tribes out there, and the algorithms know how to find them for you—that’s their job. Just be yourself.
