How important is an About Me page on my website for connecting with potential buyers?

An About Me page is a great first start and can certainly be helpful, but it’s not enough on its own. You need to give people multiple opportunities to get to know who you are as a real human being beyond just your art. This means incorporating your story, personality, and background consistently across your social media, email communications, and throughout your website—not just on one page. Human beings make purchasing decisions based on doing business with people they know, like, and trust, and a single About Me page doesn’t provide enough touchpoints to build that relationship.
