Your website should mimic what kind of experience?

Your website should mimic the art gallery buying experience. The paradigm for how art is viewed and sold has existed for centuries: minimalist presentation, monochromatic walls, the art prominently displayed with minimal distractions, maybe a small placard with the artist’s name, size, medium, and price. This is how human beings understand art and when it’s time to buy. Your website should come as close as possible to that clean, focused gallery experience—not a busy canvas full of fonts, colors, slideshows, and walls of text.
