I spent a lot of time and money building a beautiful custom website, but I'm not making sales. What should I do?

If your website isn’t generating sales, it’s not working—no matter how beautiful it is or how much you invested. Many artists get emotionally attached to their custom designs, but the hard truth is: if you sold basically nothing last year, the site is failing you. Get rid of it. You’re not in business to have a pretty website; you’re in business to make money. A generic or portfolio-style website is the wrong tool for the job. It gives a poor customer experience, falls below industry standards, and won’t impress buyers or justify your pricing. Switch to a website built specifically for selling art, even if it means letting go of your old design. Results matter more than aesthetics.
