Should I teach workshops, and how do I get started?
Teaching workshops can become a significant revenue stream and help you connect with your audience. Start by listening to the questions people ask you online and in person—if you’re getting consistent questions about your process, technique, or artistic journey, you have something valuable to share. It may take time to build confidence (it can take years to work up the courage), but once you start teaching and hear the incoming questions and see the passion for learning, you’ll realize you do have something valuable to offer. Focus on creating an experience, not just instruction. Consider starting with local, in-person workshops before expanding online. Even a simple first step like offering a paid video session can help you test demand.
