Does my artist name or alias matter for success?

Not really. The name alone won’t get you there. It’s not like people will think ‘That nickname was so good, let me go see the artwork.’ You’re putting the cart before the horse. Yes, it worked for Banksy, but people knew his work first—and he needed anonymity because he was doing illegal things. Now everyone knows who he is anyway. Focus on getting your work seen and telling your story first. The name is far less important than the marketing and consistency behind it.
