Should I focus on selling original artwork or prints when starting out?

You want to have a range of products at different price points. Typically: under $100 would be merchandise-related items plus small prints; $100-$1,000 would be small to medium prints on various media types; and then your originals at the higher end of the range. Having this full lineup gives customers entry points at multiple price levels. When your originals are in one location and you can’t access them immediately, focus on what you can sell now—like prints from high-quality images you already have—while you work toward getting the originals photographed and available.
