How should I write my marketing emails?

Write your emails like letters to a friend who collects your work, not like corporate announcements or brand newsletters. Use the same voice, warmth, stories, and vulnerability you’d use in person at a gallery opening. Read your email out loud—does it sound like you, or does it sound like a robot or a logo? If it’s the latter, rewrite it. Your email should be messy, personal, specific, funny, warm, and conversational. Yes, talk about the art, but also share what’s going on in your life, your process, and your thoughts. Don’t broadcast; have a conversation. Treat every email reply like a phone call you owe someone back.
