Why should I offer merchandise in addition to wall art?

You have to have non-wall art as part of your lineup to maximize customer acquisition. Wall art is often a commitment with a longer buying cycle and isn’t bought serendipitously. Merchandise in the $0-100 price point range allows you to acquire customers who might not be ready for wall art yet. These merchandise buyers provide you with their contact information for future marketing, and they interact with your artwork regularly—like a sticker on a refrigerator they see every day. Years later, when they move or get a vacation home, you’re top of mind, and that $5 sticker customer becomes a $7,500 wall art sale.
