What are the three most important things I need to focus on for art marketing success?
First, work on consistency. Most artists get fired up, market for one to three months, don’t see instant results because no one explained the timeline, then quit. You need to commit to consistent marketing - even one hour a week for 52 weeks straight, no excuses. Consistency is the only thing that moves mountains. Second, eliminate distractions and shiny objects. Don’t chase every new trend or platform. Focus only on what’s proven to provide ROI. Third, once you’re marketing consistently and ignoring distractions, focus on the proven tactics: how to post on social media, how to run sales, how to announce and tease promotions, how to work with your email list. But the order matters - consistency first, eliminate distractions second, then tactics third.
