How do I handle comments and questions during a live show when I'm managing it alone?
Set expectations upfront with your audience. Introduce yourself, explain it’s your first time (if it is), and tell viewers the purpose of the live session—whether it’s to share your process, show your work, or get to know them better. Encourage them to ask questions in the comments and let them know you’ll periodically lean in close to the camera to read and answer those questions. It may look a bit awkward, but that’s part of being authentic. Remind viewers throughout the session to comment, and if the chat is slow, you can have friends or colleagues join and ask a few starter questions to get the conversation going.
