If I can't sell my art myself, can a marketing agency or consultant do it for me?

Absolutely not. If you can’t sell your product, nobody ever will. This is a fundamental truth for any entrepreneur. If you can’t go out and sell three photographs or three paintings yourself, no consultant or agency will be able to do it for you either. Nobody can sell your work better than you, the creator. Everyone else will create less of a connection with buyers. If you can’t sell your pieces, something is very wrong, and you shouldn’t move forward with hiring anyone or spending on marketing until you fix whatever that fundamental problem is. You shouldn’t throw good money after bad—just go sell three pieces first. It’s not that hard to do if you’re willing to get out there and try.
