I focus on in-person selling at shows. Does email marketing still apply to me or is this just for online sellers?

Email marketing absolutely applies to you - in fact, it’s critical. It doesn’t matter whether your sales happen online or offline, through Instagram or charity events, at co-op galleries or restaurant displays. Every venue and opportunity, whether online or offline, should include an email capture strategy. Platforms and opportunities come and go - social sites change, one-time gigs end, sponsorships expire - but the fundamentals remain constant. The key is always capturing emails everywhere: at your booth with clipboards or tablets, through QR codes on your displays, via direct mail to local collectors, in face-to-face conversations at events. Think of it as ‘always be capturing emails’ regardless of where you interact with potential collectors. Once you have those emails, you can market to them consistently whether they originally discovered you online or in person.
