I've been creating art for years and selling at shows. Why should I consider myself a 'startup' online?

No matter how long you’ve been making art or how accomplished you are, if you’re new to building your own website, growing an email list, and sending regular emails, you’re technically a startup in the digital space. Your experience as an artist doesn’t automatically translate to having online momentum. You’re digitally new to the game until you have traffic, a social following, an email list, and buyers you can reach directly whenever you want.
