What does it mean to be 'antifragile' as an art business?

Being antifragile means not being dependent on any single revenue stream so that the rug can’t be pulled out from under you. Many artists had their entire income come from in-person art shows or gallery representation, then lost everything when those venues closed during the pandemic. To build an antifragile business, ensure you have robust online sales capabilities and aren’t dependent solely on in-person activities. Viruses mutate and there will likely be future variants or disruptions. The less dependent you are on any single channel, the more resilient your business becomes. This applies to any type of business, not just art.
