What does 'mapping to your ambitions' mean when evaluating sales?

It means honestly comparing your current sales to where you actually want to be. If you sold a couple thousand dollars last year but your goal is $20,000-$40,000, there’s a gap. That gap might mean your niche is too small, you’re not marketing enough, or both. Don’t settle for ‘some sales’—assess whether your trajectory can realistically get you to your goal. If not, you need to reevaluate your subject matter or strategy.
