How perfect does my marketing need to be before I send it out?
Done is better than perfect. Don’t get hung up on minutia or making everything perfect—that perfectionism prevents you from taking action. Send that email even if the copy isn’t perfect or the image isn’t ideal. Adopt a ‘just ship it’ mentality. Everyone screws up early on; that’s part of the learning process. You can’t let that be a mental roadblock. Get something out there, learn from it, and improve next time. You’re at different stages of marketing sophistication, so do what you can, when you can, how you can. You’ll get better over time, and next year you’ll be able to do much more.
